So how does it work?
Over five sessions I will take you through the process of having a gastric band fitted, only in your mind. By using suggestion and visualisation your mind will be convinced that your stomach has become smaller and that you need less food. By eating less and less often you will begin to lose weight. The process uses hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioral techniques to help you achieve your ideal weight - and stay there! Each session in the Hypno-Band system lasts for one hour and before beginning the process a full assessment will be carried out. These four sessions will ideally be scheduled to be completed within a two week period, but if necessary, this can be lengthened.
Does it involve surgery? No! The Hypno-Band system is a non-invasive behavior changing method using the techniques of hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Does it hurt? On the contrary, the Hypno-Band procedure is extremely relaxing and pleasurable.
Are there side effects? No. There are no side effects associated with undergoing this procedure. (Except losing weight of course!)
So it's safe? Yes! The Hypno-Band system is perfectly safe.

What do you get for your money?
The HYPNO-BAND system with myself comprises of 5 sessions. the first session is a double session. I spend an extra hour with you to ensure I have all the information I need to help you, this is a very important session as I need to take your personal history, medical history, as well as defining your goals, this session also is used to ascertain and deal with any limiting beliefs you may have towards your weight.
A bespoke hypnotherapy session which is made for you as an individual based on the initial consultation, Also in the first session you will be introduced to hypnosis and experience the fantastic feelings of relaxation and calmness which results from having hypnotherapy We will also begin your journey to losing weight, most people lose weight from the very first session, as we begin the journey in re programming your mind and belief structure.
A CD is also given to you for home use between sessions.
In the next session you will encounter the HYPNO-BAND and we will begin the process of having the virtual gastric band fitted.
In the following session the HYPNO-BAND virtual gastric band will be fitted and adjusted.
In the fourth and final session the process will be reinforced and you will learn a different way of eating, also if you are losing weight to quickly we adjust the band, or, if your weight loss is slower than predicted we tighten the band to restrict the amount of food you can eat.
In The Final Session, we either do a further adjustment to your band or we do a positive affirming session to help you to carry on with your journey of losing weight and becoming healthy.
