Hypnoband Terms and Conditions of the Hypnoband Weight Loss System

This agreement outlines the framework for our work together.
The agreement to work on the issues presented by the client in no way guarantees a cure.
The cost of the treatment plan is offered at the price agreed. Additional costs may be incurred if analysis sessions are required before the treatment plan is started (for dealing with emotional and psychological issues), and/or nutritional advice is needed from our nutritionist. These will be discussed with you at the appropriate time.

The full balance will be by cash or Card at the first session. The cost of the plan is non-refundable, and clients must be aware, that failure to complete the sessions will render this agreement void and will reduce the overall effectiveness of the plan.

If you are unable to attend any session due to unforeseen circumstances or illness, then kindly please provide 24 hours’ notice, if you do not give 24hours notice then there will be a fee charged for the missed appointment.  Contact between sessions will be limited to telephone, email or letter. The client must not turn up unannounced at the practice site. Failure to comply will result in the immediate cessation of treatment. Antisocial behaviour will cause the immediate cessation of treatment.

Where asked, clients must endeavour to carry out agreed tasking requirements before/in-between/after sessions as part of the treatment plan. Not undertaking them could reduce the effectiveness of treatment.

This included being fully aware of the information provided to you on the web site about the Hypno-Band procedure before the first session begins.

Clients have access to the complaints and discipline procedures of the appropriate professional body at any
time. Confidentiality will be maintained in all but the most exceptional circumstances. These can only include: legal action (criminal or civil court cases where a court order is made demanding disclosure - includes coroners courts) and where there is good cause to believe that not to disclose would cause danger or serious harm to others.

Most standards of confidentiality applied in professional contexts are based on the Common Law concept of
confidentiality where the duty to keep confidence is measured against the concept of ''greater good”. The sharing of anonymous case histories with supervisors and peer-support groups are not a breach of professional confidentiality.

The sharing of open case histories with supervisors and any referring NHS medical practitioner is also not a breach. Notes of the sessions will be kept and are available to the client with reasonable notice.
If after the first consultation, I feel that you are not committed or that Hypnoband is not the way forward for you, then I may offer a different approach to assist you, or in exceptional circumstances I will refer you to another therapist. If after the first session I feel that we cannot work together then only the first session will be charged for, which is presently £90 for the 60 min session.

You agree to drink a minimum of 6 pints of water daily, clear fresh water with no added juice at all, this helps the liver to stay healthy and in turn enables the liver to break down fat easier.

You agree to follow any action plan that we agree on together, this includes agreed activities, and logging all activities on the log sheet/s provided. (Please bring your log sheets to each session).

Weight loss requires will-power and motivation.

Please note that presently the system is offered by myself as a 5 session plan, the first session being a double session so that we can start you on your track to weight loss and health.
